Put the time in and make the sacrifice is what he’s tactfully trying to say if I had to guess.

Brady, MJ, Gretzky, etc could all give motivational speeches till they’re blue in the face, but if you want to be transcendently good and a pantheon player, you need to marry your god-given skills with a ruthless desire to dominate.

All the greats hated to lose more than they loved to win. It was an insult to their very being to finish runner up.

Josh might go down as my favorite Bill ever when all is said and done, but he’s lost that edge. Dude overcame no college offers, JuCo, making a draft name for himself at a program in BFE, rough rookie year with injuries, and improved with hard work and dedication each year, culminating in that manic look on the sideline at KC in the playoffs after he had just given the Bills the lead. At that very moment, even though he still had one more improbable TD in him and the coaching staff eventually lost him the game, I thought we had a pantheon player.

This last season and a half has killed his love for the game and crushed his soul, so he’s looking for inspiration from outside. Either that, or he’s just living the high life doing commercials, podcasts, dating Hollywood strange, and other distractions to keep his mind off the pain.

"****en slide" is about all Tommy Boy can tell him. At least publicly. Stuff like "cheat by: using HGH, deflate your balls, videotape signals and have an extra radio in your helmet" aren't things he can tell him in the open.

And what are you talking about with the "dating Hollywood strange" thing? Tommy Boy dated Bridget Moynihan and then dated and married Gis. Wayne dated and married Janet Jones.

It's not really all that uncommon for top athletes to date celebrities. It's just been a long time since we've had any top athletes in Buffalo so people aren't used to it.

I agree with the commitment part, not so much the dating comment.

He needs to put 100% into winning, that's what great ones do. Who cares who he's spending his free time with as long as he's happy.

Meh, he was becoming disillusioned with it all last year before he started dating her. I just think he’s looking for other sources of fun and happiness because football has become a chore. He needs the right HC/OC combo to bring that passion out.

Josh came into the league unpolished and is slipping back into old habits, exacerbated by the fact that he feels he needs to do it all now that the playcalling blows and the rest of the team can’t be motivated to show up on a week to week basis.

Losing Daboll really hurt his development, which is why it is mandatory that we get a young stud offensive HC ASAP. We need a brilliant offensive mind who won’t be poached away by another team because he’s merely an OC and not a HC here.

Give Josh that guy who he can grow with over 5, 7, 10 years because Josh is the kind of talent who will always need to be coached, unlike a Brady or Manning. He can still be an all time great, but he will need a guru in his ear/by his side. Without this, we are wasting his abilities

Who he's pounding has nothing to do with how he plays. This is such nonsense.

Maybe he's not pounding and is upset just trying everything he can to get'r done.

Anytime I see anyone question Brady's toughness I think of this play.

Brady nonchallantly just gets up and casually walks away.

That hit today and you're seeing Nate Clements getting penalized, ejected, fined and suspended.
