There are several strong candidates. Let's start in Buffalo and work out way west. The Bills were a three-win team that jumped to eight victories last season. Their jump won't be as dramatic in 2003, but it will be significant. Buffalo has plugged the holes on a porous defense with tackle Sam Adams, linebackers Takeo Spikes and Jeff Posey and safety Lawyer Milloy.

I have seen the Miami prediction all over the place When you ask them why, nobody ever has an answer, especially with them only making cosmetic improvements.

Cosmetic? We added 4 players of note; Jr, Knight, TBuck and Griese. All better players at their positions than the ones they replaced. What was cosmetic about that?

I predict them to win the division and be a legitimate SB threat because they have 1) a powerful D; 2) The best power runner in the NFL; 3) deep recieving corp; 4) a good ball control QB.

Before you jump all over me for 4, consider that Dumbo was on pace for a 3100 yd, 61.4% compl, 21 TD 13 int season. Those are very solid numbers that are close to perfect for the type of team he's on.

Miami is going to be extremely tough. I don't know why anyone thinks differently. The Pats are the overrated ones, imo. And we know the Jests are dead.
