We went from this type of dynamic play to the zero imagination play we have today…brought on by a single huge downgrade.

I now realize that we were spoiled by riches when we complained about the occasional dumb play call made by Daboll.

I disagree that we have better personnel now. That team had Beasley, who was an all pro, John brown, who posted a 1000 yard season, Emmanuel Sanders who was no slouch, All pro Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis as your 4th and Dawson Knox. What we have now isn't even close.

I disagree that we have better personnel now. That team had Beasley, who was an all pro, John brown, who posted a 1000 yard season, Emmanuel Sanders who was no slouch, All pro Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis as your 4th and Dawson Knox. What we have now isn't even close.

We ran a better attack plan then ..... Beasley delivered, McKenzie delivered at times, Davis played much better ..... Diggs was himself .... Brown made some nice plays as well as Knox.

Sanders didn't really get enough opportunity as far as I'm concerned.

Lots of vets helps.

Now vet wise much thinner.

No Beasley

No Brown

etc. etc. etc.

This is true.the over complication of the red zone offense (especially inside the 7) was crazy.

but Daboll attacked between the 20s. Except in 3rd quarters where he was known to snooze right through it.

this Dorsey offense could never pull off the perfect playoff game vs the Patriots. Make all things the same except Dorsey at the helm and that game goes down to the wire.

He definitely made a dumb play call here and there (which we complained about because the grass is always greener?), but he also made countless brilliant ones, and he properly utilized his personnel/spread the ball around. Can’t mention he and Dorkey in the same breath.

He also didn’t have Cook/Harris/Murray…maybe if he did there may have been a reduction in some of the dumb play calls.

Allen used to be a legit, amped up dual threat. He's reigned in now and that hurts this O more than any of the personnel changes, except for arguably Daboll.
