All on defense ...... not good.

Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist poll showing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.

How is it possible that we have so many injuries on D?

Is there a correlation between the oldness of our roster and the number of injuries?
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

Add Jones , Milano and White not a good look at all.

Puts more pressure on the offense to run some clock.

Pressure to make the time consuming drives has been a challenge ..... we need to TAKE WHAT THEY GIVE ..... don't rush things.

It sure looks a bit that way except for maybe Benford.

Weird side note the guy he replaced that is now a Bear is also out injured.

You look to be onto something.

On D, the problem to me is KEY members are old. Daquan is a good add, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy both years. Milano is getting up there in ages and he, as well as Bernard, are undersized which means they are kind of prone to getting injured as active as they are in run support. Then we have older secondary where Hyde, Poyer, White are all getting up there; for secondary where athleticism is a premium feature you are looking for we are at a severe disadvantage, especially late in games and late in a season.

There are odd balls like Taron Johnson. The guy gets his nose into run stopping as much as any one on defense and he rarely miss games.

I have a feeling they will spend a high draft pick on a safety who can step in right away, and likely a day 2 pick on a stout 1 tech DT. They have to get younger AND better there.

Lots of choices could be acceptable with our 1st pick.

Safety is one for damn sure.

DT 1 Tech beast is another.

That would be an excellent 1 ... 2 ... combination.

Then a want a Center, LB, CB and OT.

Might need to get a few pieces via trade.

Does the offense remain relatively uninjured because they are only playing a third of the game lately it feels like ?
                          I came.
                          I saw.
                          I conquered.

                            Yup .... mostly.

We flipped the script for victory into the script for loss.

Unfortunately Johnson isn’t nearly as talented as White, Poyer or Hyde.

But we have real issues. Poyer and Hyde have held this D together for years but they won’t be viable much longer. White has had two significant injuries in less than 2 years. We are right up against the cap and need at least 3 new starters in the secondary alone. It’s gonna get bad.
