    Kahlil Shakir More Please

This kid reminds me of a young Tyler Lockett.

    Thoughts/Comments

This kid is gonna be fun add in Dalton Kincaid to the mix and I say:

Reminds me of Andre. Not the fastest guy in the world until the ball gets in his hands. Haven't seen a Bills receiver take a YAC and split the field open like he did in decades.

His entire college tape was exactly like yesterday. Acrobatic catches and YAC.

He had the one drop yesterday but generally catches anything his way. Hope he continues to get more playing time. He might be a Steal.

I was so excited about this kid when we drafted him last year, although I admittedly didn’t know much about him and just went by the draft tape porn. I thought he’d be a sure pair of hands on 3rd down and in crunch situations, as well as slippery in his route running. I really hope his targets continue to increase. Him, Kincaid, and Cook out of the backfield. Mix in a handful of designed QB runs and stay true to the ground game and I don’t see how this team could ever have less than 20-25 first downs a game even on their worst day.

He can make plays when a D treat him like a JAG. Not sure he can be "HIM". But that's exactly what we need. Davis, Harty, him, Knox, Johnson need to make plays when given the opportunity. Diggs, Kincaid look to be in "HIM" category. We'll see about Cook - he now has a OC who knows how to use him, may elevate his game to a new level.

I’m about done with the Knox and Gabe experiments

Shakirs senior highlights tape for those who haven’t seen it.

His junior tape is on there too

Been saying this all season. Guy needs to be involved more.

                Sherfield and Harty can GTFO.

Keep spreading the ball around to Shakir, Kincaid, Cook, Johnson, Gilliam, Knox (when he returns) with the same kind of shorter ball control type of plays as last night. Those first three guys can RAC it up and bust some now and again. Then the whole field is gonna open up and sometimes allow some deeper stuff to Diggs and Davis.

                  Complementary offense indeed.

Love the kid. They tried to get Harty involved early, and once again nothing came of it.

Shakir got his chances and took advantage of them. Feed him the rock.

Shakir makes Davis expendable. Rather than pay Davis, I'd rather pay Floyd and Rapp.

I hope Beane doesn’t plan on bringing him back. He still may be good but I’d rather spend the money elsewhere like you say. There are a ton of absolute stud WR coming out of college in the next draft…grab one and if any questions remain about the WR room they’ll be answered.
