Buffalo Bills (https://www.buffalorumblings.com/) quarterback Josh Allen was efficiently on fire throughout the team’s Week 11 win over the New York Jets (https://www.ganggreennation.com/). But perhaps most important, Allen appeared confident, decisive with the way he distributed the ball to pass catchers at every level of the field.

Allen completed 22-of-32 passes for 275 yards, with three touchdowns — and a mostly harmless (though momentarily perilous during the 51-yard return) Hail Mary arm-punt interception right before halftime. Once again, Allen finished a game watching from the bench, because the game was more than comfortably in hand.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of Allen’s performance is that wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis were barely involved in the passing game. He didn’t force the football to Diggs or Davis as we’d seen during previous games in moments of frustration, and that proved fruitful. Diggs was the offense’s most oft-targeted receiver, getting eight looks by Allen — but he only caught four of them for 27 yards as a short-field option last Sunday. Davis, on the other hand, didn’t log an official target. And it all worked out perfectly well.

He was great against a really good D but the Bills controlled that game from the beginning. It was easy for him to relax and have fun knowing that one mistake won’t cost us the game.

Let’s wait and see what happens when the O struggles early and we get down by two scores. With our remaining schedule, it’s going to happen at some point. Let’s see if Josh can still be relaxed and have fun. Then we’ll know if he got his groove back.

His 'groove' still isn't good enough. Frankly, his "I play with my emotions on my sleeve" comment this week is disappointing. Still waiting for him to progress into a cold-blooded killer, but it sounds like he doesn't want to. If that's the case, he never will. If we ever do get a Super Bowl out of him it will be because the defense finally rises up and goes on a run, a la Manning in Indianapolis.
