Rays of hope for Elam (not busting)

The first glimmer was when he wasn’t traded for a bag of socks at the deadline, the second was apparently he had a torn ankle ligament since pre-season and has been hobbled ever since?

    So ya, I’m saying there’s a chance.

How long for it to completely heal?

Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist poll showing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.

Definitely good news hopefully on the way to great.

It gets him to camp next year. That's his make or break.

I was wondering how one gets injured scratching healthily.

I don't see him being a bust anyway, he came into his own at the end of last season. He's a man corner, they knew that, and didn't use him so, trying to force him into zone corner.

You scheme for your players, not force players into scheme, why did they even draft a man corner not to use him in man coverage ? Do they use Shakir or Kincaid enough for why they drafted them, even Cook ? Cook isn't a fullback but they run him into the line, Kincaid should be a mismatch every play, and Shakir gets the occasional toss behind the blocking wr Davis who can't normally catch as a receiver.

Just get players who do their job and even help the scheme already. We've had how many years to sharpen this ?

A team wants a player, how does he fit into what they're doing ?

I'm guessing "Yeah, grab him, I'll break him and mold him into something else" is not a McDermott strength. How many more DT's do we need to get in FA before drafting one that can 2 gap because we want him to ?

Anyone is gonna bust if you fill a round hole with a square peg. Can't blame Elam for it.

I didn't realize he has been dealing with a torn ligament all season. I give him credit for trying to play through it, but it seems like they should have just put him on IR right at the beginning of the season and let him heal.

Why would they hide his injury?

A lot of people are asking that same question. Very odd.
