…oh who am I kidding?

What an epic, thoroughly satisfying beatdown. Probably my favorite win since the Patriot playoff game.

For the first time in the Allen/McDermott era we showed we can play bad weather football and maximize the home crowd.

Not going to qualify this with a “we better win the next 2 games” rant. I want to savor this feeling and synthesize it into a solution I can mainline.

Go Bills

It was fun. My little chihuahua enjoyed it too. He didn't have to run off the couch once. I never raised my voice once! I don't remember that last time that happened.

Didn’t see the game . Just saw highlights. Couple of things. If you told me Bills passed for only 94 yards. Shakir Davis and Kincaid had 0 catches… I would assume doom. Dalvin s now James Cook’s older brother. What a performance.

did I read right? 1 penalty? No turnovers? I should not watch the rest of the season. Skip Bayless should be fun to watch

You watched the game without raising your voice?

Do you pantomime your joy?

You mean the "ass-whuppin' I've been waiting to see" since the Miami ass-whuppin' in week 4.

Not surprisingly, the last game Josh threw ZERO INTS was that Miami rout.

The facts are incontrovertible. Josh has had only three clean games with ZERO INTS....all ass-whuppin's. Two of them vs some of the best teams in the NFL and both bona-fide SB contenders.

Josh's statline was heavily affected by like 4 or 5 drops. I think Kinkade dropped 3 balls that hit his hands, and only one of them was a moderately hard catch. even diggs had a drop.

Still it was an asswhupping. the Oline was just brutal all game long, road grinders, the type of running game that would make John Madden hard even in his grave. just fantastic to watch.

Lets get the stable completely activated it's December baby.

We have Cook, Johnson, Murray and Fournette.

Oh and Reggie Gilliam.

The stable includes anybody that gets their nose dirty or wants to.

These escorts must include Gabe Davis he's killing it on the blocking ... use him like you did yesterday Dawson Knox is no slouch as a blocker either.

This last player I'll mention is the scariest of all he wears the jersey number 17 ..... that one is only for special ass kicking emphasis.

Lets show em what a real Buffalo stampede looks like.

Its one of those games where highlights don't tell the true story. It was more of a methodical beat down by running the ball. In the first half alone, the Bills had at least 12 runs of 7 yards or more. Most of those plays don't make a highlight reel.

They took advantage of a smaller Dline/LB corps...Dallas has a 3tech who weighs 280lbs and an ILB who weighs around 210. That is coupled with a few 250lb DE's. They are meant to rush the passer.

I heard one analyst last night before I went to bed who put it best. To beat Dallas, most teams think you have to pass the ball with short quick passes, to negate their pass rush. It usually doesn't work. (Before yesterday they were 5th in the league in points allowed.) But the Bills ran right at them, taking advantage of the size difference and letting Cook and Ty Johnson squeak through holes. Cook especially, was using his speed to beat defenders on the 2nd level. The Oline was getting to the 2nd level too and broke some bigger runs.

Its a game to sit back and watch in its entirety to appreciate.

As far as Kincaids drops...he was wearing gloves meant for the rain. But as Analyst Greg Olsen explains, they are only effective when they are wet. He changed gloves after the4 2nd drop, but not sure if they threw to him after that. They really didn't need to.

Diggs was definitely wearing the right gloves on his one handed snag .... that was a killer catch and really important .... we needed that one and he delivered.

Running like he was 20 lbs heavier, Cook reminded me some of Fred Jackson.

Loved how Fred played the game one of my favorite Bills period.

Earlier I was gonna post that Cook looks like he did in his days at Georgia.

He's gonna get better is the scary part primarily in the passing game.

I do believe the game is slowing down for him.

Let the game come to you .... Christian McCaffrey had that happen for him early in his career.

The Bills have been patient with Cook and it's starting to payoff.

He doesnt have Jackson's power, and especially not his ability to do things like pass protect, but he's faster.

In fact he's faster than most, whether its down field or turning the corner, or his one cut move up the field.

I don't really have a comparison for him, but don't need one. He's good at doig what he does, with room for improvement. (the occasional drops and pass pro).

Here is the thing about yesterday's game, its not something they are going to be able to do weekly...I don't expect them to turn into some run first team.

They faced a defense that was a little light in the load and they exploited it.

PS, the cool thing was, just about everyone said, Josh had to be Superman for this game. He didn't. They just needed to hit the Boys in a vulnerable area.

Exploiting a defense. NE did this weekly during their SB years. They could go in one game running ball 75% of the time..and the next game pass 15 times in a row, depnding on where the D was weakest.

You can't stop our run, fine, we'll keep running it 10-15 times in a row.

You're not a good pass defense, we'll either dink and dunk until you stop it, or you cheat up, and we'll throw it over your head.

Exploit the weakness, hit 'em where they ain't, and mix in some Daboll misdirection plays to boot. They have the tools do it.
