You clearly don’t understand the concept. It means they play well against good teams and poorly against bad teams. It’s a pattern that has largely held true this season.

You’re focusing on the exceptions, not the rule. It’s not 100% but the general trend is the Bills hold their own against better competition but play down against lesser competition
