Report: Ja’Marr Chase will miss time

The hits keep coming for the Bengals, who have managed to stay in playoff contention without quarterback Joe Burrow.

Now, they will have to try to do it without star receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Chase separated his shoulder Saturday, which will keep Chase out for at least Sunday’s game against the Steelers if not longer.

On Sunday, Bengals coach Zac Taylor called Chase day to day.

As great as Chase is .... they would be in bigger trouble without Tee Higgins and I've said it before ..... sometimes I wonder what that guy is on.

Part of Higgins success is due to having Chase on the field at the same time.

Emphasis on part he's still special all by himself.

They are wealthy in that WR room.

Boyd would start over Gabe Davis if he was a Bill, let alone Higgins.

Chase isn't as big a loss for them as Diggs would be for us.

We need to get Diggs a guy who can attract more coverage.

We were so much better with Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders or Brown and Davis as 3 wide.

Kincaid is good but he doesn't scare anyone.
