Jordan Phillips hopes to return if Bills make playoffs

Bills defensive tackle Jordan Phillips won’t be able to help the team make the playoffs over the next few weeks, but he hopes to help them in the postseason.

Phillips said on Tuesday, via Ryan O’Halloran of the Buffalo News, that he hopes to return to action if the Bills are one of the seven AFC teams to advance to the tournament. Phillips had surgery on his dislocated wrist on Monday.

I guess they are creating a roster spot by putting Phillips onto IR and he's NOT going to come back for Miami's game. Bills have 3 designated to return from IR right now: Elam, Shorter and Jones. Maybe one of them will take the spot and sounds like Jones won't be the one.

As of yesterday, it didn't sound too promising. It sounded like he still has significant pain when rotating his torso.
