    Bills-Chargers on Peacock include first-ever commercial-free 4th Qtr.

NBC announced on Thursday that, for the first time ever, the fourth quarter of an NFL game will be broadcast without commercial interruption.
“We are proud to work with our partners at the NFL to present this first-of-its kind experience,” NBC Sports president Rick Cordella said. “NBC Sports’ best-in-class NFL production, Peacock’s fan-friendly viewer experience, and this innovative advertising model will allow NFL fans an exciting new way to watch the game’s conclusion.”
Unless the Chargers actually, you know, try this time, there’s a good chance that a running clock would be a more ideal innovation. That said, the experiment will give folks a reason to stick around, even if the Bills are comfortably ahead and the Chargers have comfortably thrown in the towel.

What would be revolutionary is if America could hit a button on their remote to activate a shock collar on Collingsworthless....

NBC execs are like "So the game should be over by the beginning of the fourth quarter what can we do to keep viewers tuned in?"

                        What a sham.

The NFL needs to put an end to this corporate greed. People can't watch a prime time NFL game without having to subscribe to something. Luckily, here in Canada TSN and/or CTV carry all the prime time games, so I don't have to worry, but it's still not the point. The NFL gives zero cares about the avg Joe anymore.

I don't know. We do know Buffalo Bills specialize in soul-crushing disappointment and there are still so many ways for that to happen:
                            - Miss the playoffs because we lose to a cluster**** of a Chargers team playing a backup QB
                            - Miss the playoffs because the hapless Patriots sweep us
                            - Miss the playoffs because we lose to Miami in the last game of the season
                            - Win the div by winning in Miami, they get a wild card and come to Buffalo and beat us the following week
                            - Make the playoffs only to lose to Mahomes again
                            - Make it to the SB only to lose to Dallas for a 3rd time

I honestly don't think we make it. One more AFC loss and it just becomes almost mathematically impossible. On paper, all 3 of these games are winnable, but this team already lost to the Jags, Broncos, Jets, and Pats, and blew a game against the Eagles despite Allen having video game numbers. 3 more chances to blow it is too many.
