McDermott’s clock management is an issue

Why on earth would you take a time out with 41 seconds left in the first half, 2nd and 1 from the 3 yard line. Why? Idiot left the Chargers 40 seconds after they scored on the next play.

At least he didn’t botch it at the end

    You mean game management
My faith doesn’t make me perfect, it makes me forgiven.

To make sure they got the play right? If it was against Mahomes or some other top QB I'd get you being upset. LA didn't even try to move the ball.

Could’ve let 20 seconds run off first.

He called another time out at the end of the game to give the opponent's offense more time to get their **** together, too. I get wanting to make sure the defense is right, but that benefits the offense far more.

He's flatly been doing this for years, because he's timid and escared.
