This leads to the question, why are we grossly underutilizing Shakir (he only has 35 targets)?

We’ll never know if he doesn’t get more reps. He’s got great hands and is very good with yac. If it doesn’t work what exactly would we lose? Worst case we’d get the same amount of drops as Davis.

Seems like Diggs is the drop king lately. I know there is nothing backing this up but he just doesn’t seem right. Never a speed demon, his route running magic always gave him separation. It’s not there. I know back issues in early November were an issue, perhaps something minor is lingering that has made cuts not as crisp or burst less “bursty”…

He hasn't been on the field as much either, even in key situations. I would bet his snap count has dropped considerably.

Agreed. He’s a tough dude but there’s only so much punishment anyone can take.

This is why we need to start getting others involved. I loved that “Big Game” showed up, the stats I listed show that we most likely have another very capable guy that needs more burn.

Oh and there is zero excuse not to draft a WR in the 2024 first round.
