This could be a positive outcome either way. Either win and wrestle the division away from Miami, or—if McDermott is on sudden-death probation—we get new blood in here.

I can see him keeping his job if he loses to Baltimore in the AFCCG, but it’s been our turn for 3 years now (this year included) and coaching has held us back from reaching a SB for 2+ years now. A coaching decision effectively ended the competitive phase of the 2020 AFCCG too, but the Bills likely weren’t good enough to beat KC anyways.

Should be pretty simple math for McD. If you keep winning, you keep working. Any loss prior to February 11th and it’s time to hit the bricks
