The Dolphins lost Bradley Chubb for the rest of the season when he tore his ACL (https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/bradley-chubb-out-for-season-with-torn-acl) on Sunday, they don’t have great concern about quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s shoulder (https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/mike-mcdaniel-not-worried-about-tua-tagovailoas-shoulder-injury) and cornerback Xavien Howard falls somewhere in the middle of those two outlooks.

Howard left Sunday’s loss to the Ravens early in the first quarter with a foot injury and head coach Mike McDaniel said on Monday that he’s “not planning” to have the cornerback for their AFC East title game against the Bills in Week 18. McDaniel didn’t say anything about the first weekend of the playoffs, but it certainly sounds like Howard could be in play for that game.

I won't believe anything regarding "not planning, not likely, probably not" until the final injury report comes out of the inactives list right before kickoff.

When they lost Phillips they lost their very best defensive player by a mile .... now Chubb is gone another major loss ..... and now possibly just possibly Howard their best CB.

I really don't care what they say either but my guess is he sits ........ granted just a guess.

Tua who know's about him really :idunno: ..... they wouldn't be honest about him no matter what.

Play Tua at your own risk!

Should be a very interesting week!!!!

I'd say Wilkins is their best defender and Ramsey is their best CB, but still significant losses. Even when they're healthy our offense always seems to match up well either way. It's time for the Bills passing game to get out of their funk and take advantage.

Diggs has big days against (Ramsey) they actually pick on him.

He's got a big mouth and an even bigger ego.

Wilkins is very good I agree with that assessment however he's much less impactful without the likes of Phillips and now Chubb.

Look for Josh to punish them with his legs and our running game overall.

Chubb was the guy that worried me. He was really playing well.

Chubb has a lot of Mario Williams in him. Good numbers guy but not a big moment or tough opponent performer. Yes, he excelled against Dallas but that was when Tyron Smith went down and some guy from Jiffy Lube replaced him

Cornerback Xavien Howard (foot) is unlikely (https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/dolphins-not-planning-to-have-xavien-howard-in-week-18) to play Sunday night and edge rusher Bradley Chubb tore his ACL last weekend. They missed practice along with left tackle Terron Armstead (knee, ankle, back) and defensive tackle Zach Sieler (illness).

Jaylen Waddle, Raheem Mostert don't practice for Dolphins - NBC Sports (https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/jaylen-waddle-raheem-mostert-dont-practice-for-dolphins)

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said at his press conference that wide receiver Jaylen Waddle took part in a walkthrough on Wednesday morning, but any practice reps will come later this week as he continues to deal with the ankle injury that sidelined him last Sunday. Running back Raheem Mostert, who is dealing with knee and ankle issues, remained off the field as well.

They almost beat us in our house last year in the playoffs with a third string scrub quarterback. I don't care who isn't playing this needs to be a repeat of the first match this year.

Pass rusher Bradley Chubb (knee), cornerback Xavien Howard (foot), tailback Raheem Mostert (knee and ankle) and Jaylen Waddle (ankle) all didn't practice for a second straight day.

Will Mostert and Waddle play?

Chubb and Howard already have been ruled out by head coach Mike McDaniel. Mostert and Waddle, two players who missed last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens because of their injuries, likely will have their playing status determined Friday, and a lot depends on whether they can participate in practice.
