During his Tuesday press conference, Vrabel told reporters that the Titans need a win for a lot of reasons. Tennessean columnist Gentry Estes then followed up, asking if Vrabel would elaborate on those reasons.

But Vrabel had only one.

“Because it sucks to lose, Gentry,” Vrabel said, via Chris Harris of WSMV. Vrabel paused as another reporter began to ask a question, but Vrabel then turned back to Estes. “Did you have another thought? I’m just curious. It ****ing sucks (https://x.com/ChrisHarrisWSMV/status/1742264001122206127?s=20) — losing. Awful. That’s why I want to win.

“Because you don’t sleep. You want to win for the players that bust their tail — that’s it. I mean, it’s not about, ‘Hey, we’ll go into the offseason with a good note.’ Nobody knows what you did on January 7, or 8, or 6 in April when you come back [for the offseason program]. But, you want to see it all come together. Just put four quarters together, win a game like we talked about.”

Mike Vrabel- Ryan Tannehill will start if Will Levis can't - NBC Sports (https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/mike-vrabel-ryan-tannehill-will-start-if-will-levis-cant)

“We’ll see (https://www.tennesseetitans.com/news/titans-qb-will-levis-improving-but-status-for-sunday-s-finale-vs-jaguars-is-unce),” Vrabel said, via Jim Wyatt of the team website. “We’ll evaluate that through the week, and we’ll see how practice goes, and then we’ll prepare accordingly and make sure that we give everybody the best opportunity to win the football game. We’ll see when he’s healthy as they work through treatment today and practice and treatment through the week.”

Vrabel said veteran Ryan Tannehill, and not Malik Willis, will start against the Jaguars if Levis can’t play.

Levis injured his left ankle on the final play of the Week 15 game against the Texans and missed the Week 16 game against the Seahawks that Tannehill started. Levis injured his right foot in the second quarter against the Texans on Sunday and was carted to the training room.

“Everybody feels a little bit better [physically] after some treatment and time and recovery,” Vrabel said when asked how Levis was feeling today. “We’ll see who is available and where we can go.”

Could need a Titans win this weekend. Or the Ravens.
