    DaQuan Jones

How has he looked so far in his two appearances since returning from injury? Are we going to need both him and Joseph active for the playoffs?

Jones and Joseph should be very busy if its snowy vs Pitts who will most likely run Najee Harris all day.

Poona Ford has played well too lately. Oliver and Jones are obviously must starts, but picking between Joseph/Settle/Poona for the other two DTs they typically carry on game day is a good problem to have.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

          Jones being back is monster.

Not gonna be a tough decision.

Settle will rotate with Oliver, I'd go with Joseph over Ford for a brutal physical game to rotate with Jones.

Glad Jones is back, he has fire.

We need to stack the box and blitz to stop the run. Game over. Hopefully.

If we lose to the Stillers this week it will rival the loss to their backups and missing the playoffs altogether.

There was not much rotating of defensive tackles in the Miami game. Out of 52 defensive snaps:

                Oliver 46
                Jones 33
                Ford 9
                Settle 9
                Joseph inactive

Of course, if your defense is constantly causing a 3 (or 4) and out, like in the second half, the starters stay pretty fresh.

Did Miami even try to run between the tackles at all?

The TD run was .... it was designed to get 3 yards and De'Von Achane broke it with his incredible speed .... kid know's how to hit the hole.

We need Cook to do that hit it quick and go ..... no dancing please.

Pittsburgh would be more likely to hit it up between the tackles.

Jaylen Warren is the guy who may break it outside also good on the checkdowns.

Najee Harris has success moreso between the tackles but can be effective in screens.

Stop their run game making them one dimensional or jump on them early and often ..... points points points that will make it very tough to stick to the run game which happens to be their game plan for the most part.

Rudolph is not shy about throwing the ball downfield so pressure is also important.

My game plan .... take what their defense gives, spread the ball around and drive them nuts.

Of course cash in your opportunities points should be a premium with these guys.

Force Tomlin out of his usual comfortable grind it out strategy.
