Every weather report I've looked at shows decent weather... cloudy/25 degrees. Could change but man is it ever nice to Host the chiefs.

Beating them at home is the most fun... this will be Patricia's first playoff game on the road. I expect their sideshow will also be making the trip to WNY.

Bills CB Rasul Douglas told me in the locker room he felt he was ready to play, but the team held him out. Douglas then said he'll play next week against the Chiefs.9:09 PM · Jan 15, 2024

If they win the coin toss then you take the ball and jam it right down their throats on the 1st possession. No deferring. Be the alpha

I always like to get the ball to start the 2nd half. Love giving the defense first crack at em.

I can't see us winning this game.

Yes, I know they finally have to come to Buffalo.
Yes, I know Mahomes has never had to play a playoff game on the road.
Yes, I know we already beat them once this season, but we likely would have lost if they didn't commit that really dumb penalty.

At this point, Bills vs Chiefs in the reg season is basically a coin flip. In the playoffs, though, Mahomes is 2-0 against Allen, and our D is really banged up. You can say "well it's on the O to win it," but in the 13 seconds game, Josh had one of the best games of his career and it still wasn't enough.

This isn't the normal Chiefs team and the normal Chiefs game. The Chiefs are 2nd in the league in points against...yeah, 2nd.

They are 4th against the pass. Snead has been a true shut down corner, penalties aside. He's stopped some of the better WRs in the game. They have 57 sacks. Lots of 2 deep, lots of pressure.

On the other hand, their run defense isn't the best. 18th in the league in yards, 24th in YPA. in the reg season game,

I don't expect Diggs to have a big day (which means he will). The key is not forcing the ball to him. Kincaid, Knox, Shakir, might be better options. Not forgetting playoff Gabe. In the reg season game, Cook averaged 5.8 ypc and had 83 yards in receiving. and...don't discount playoff Gabe if he plays.

Rice is coming on as their threat opposite Kelsey. Douglas playing this week will help. Exploit their tackles...pressure from the outside is a must.

Josh doesn't play hero ball and turn the ball over..I like our chances.

It seems Diggs role is to get what he can… 6 yards move the chains. Come back on a Josh improv… that kinda thing. The bigger role is as decoy. Opening up for others.

Maybe he can bait Snead into a penalty. Snead is, I think, the most penalized CB in the NFL. I think they can find a way to get him open...lots of motion, hide him, move him, etc. But it is not a be all/end all situation.

Now, getting Kincaid, Knox or especially Cook, to be 1 on 1 against Bolton or Chenel, neither of whom is considered a really good coverage LB...might bring some success.

Of course...WRONG EVERY TIME!!!!!!

In the least biggest surprise of the decade, you have already picked the Bills to lose vs KC (http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showthread.php/264763-2023-24-Playoff-Picks?p=5076351&viewfull=1#post5076351)….again.

I tried to warn you before week 18 when I gave an update to the pick ranking (http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showthread.php/263759-2023-Weekly-Picks?p=5071413&viewfull=1#post5071413)…of course you came in DEAD LAST….

#5 - far, far behind - Opi - 139-115 (don't give up Opi....do your best for week 18 picks to try and scratch your way to only 10 behind ksdog...a word of advice....don't pick against the Bills. And don't try to hide behind the "when I pick the Bills they lose and when I pick against them they win" canard....there is zero relationship between what you pick and what the team does.

You picked the Bills to LOSE an astounding ELEVEN TIMES (today’s update…now FOURTEEN TIMES) (including picking against the Bills for every one of their four (update FIVE) game winning streak) and been wrong seven times (update NINE TIMES) a dismal .364 record (update .357) ....a feat that only seven NFL teams have worse winning percentage (so far).

Why in the world of reality would any of your sour puss, loser, QUITTER rubbish have ANY shred of credibility???

The answer….THEY DO NOT....NONE. ZERO. NADA. ZILTCH.

Best advice for the whole board????......

Josh is doing a great job of spreading the ball around. He needs to take advantage of LBs lined up against Shakir and Kinkaid and hit Cook out in the flats. KC is going to have to run a lot of zone and if they don’t it opens up the lanes for Josh to use his legs. If our defense does their job, we’ll be moving on.

This is going to be a spill your guts on the field, rock em sock em battle for 60 minutes. The three players on the Chiefs that always concern me are Mahomes, Kelce and Chris Jones.

We need an effort like we had against Dallas. But IMO the Chiefs D is much better than Dallas, especially their D line. And Mahomes is a lot like Brady. He's super competitive and he never gives up. You want to beat the Chiefs in the playoffs you have to play for 60. Not 59 and 47.

OL needs to protect better this weekend than they did in the regular season game. But I think that was more mental, not picking up blitzes correctly. They can figure it out. If Jones is going to be a problem, do what the Lions did to Aaron Donald last week. They always had 2, if not three people on him. They made it clear that Donald was not going to beat them.

But damned, these two teams are closely matched.

Plenty more in the article.

And how did the Pit come to prominence?
This is the best part. On Sunday, September 17, the Bills routed the Las Vegas Raiders 38-10. Meanwhile, outside the confines of the stadium, a pioneer was embarking on a journey. By that, I mean he jumped into the Pit. Or, as @WNYFireAlerts put it, “Victim Jumped a Fence in the Construction Area & Fell Down a Hole (Unknown how Deep the Hole is).”

The following day, members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office expounded further: A 29-year-old man (hero?), who was under the influence of “LSD, cocaine and marijuana,” had walked into a porta-potty, covered himself in feces, and then ventured toward the construction site.

Authorities eventually discovered “how Deep the Hole is”—about 30 to 40 feet—and said that it took about 20 minutes to retrieve the man from the bottom of it and get him to the hospital.

Swift is world wide, and will attract the female audience. I get the US tv ratings for the Super Bowl are unbeatable, but just because every household tunes into the game doesnt mean the whole household actually watches it. I know my wife cares more for the commercials and the gathering of friends (i.e., the event) more than the game itself.

With the NFL starting to promote the NFL outside of the US more, and with the increase promotion of flag football, I really hope we're not doomed today because they want a Chiefs (i.e., Swift) a guaranteed spot in the big game.

I dunno what the big deal is with a mega rich singer wanting to see her bf play. If he's not there she probably won't be either unless it's a date night. It's not that "they need" her to be there, it's that she can afford to be nearly anywhere she wants to be. Rich people at Super Bowls isn't a new thing.
