    Falcons interview Bill Belichick

It would be fitting if it lasted 28 minutes and three seconds. Either way, Bill Belichick has interviewed with the Falcons for the team’s head-coaching vacancy.

The Falcons announced on Monday night that the interview has been completed.

Belichick and the Patriots parted ways four days ago. Belichick had one year left on his contract, but Patriots owner Robert Kraft opted not to attempt to receive compensation from a new team.

“It breaks your heart when someone leaves and you don’t know why.”

"It may be raining but there's a rainbow above you"

Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist poll showing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.

He must be great in interviews with monosyllabic answers in a monotone.

            PTSD

I'd rather see him coach a team that plays the Bills once every 4 years.

I’d think Dallas will be option for Bill

I don't know. Can he get along with a meddling owner like Jerry? I don't know how much Kraft meddled, really. Maybe he's just as bad?

Bill would be excellent on the Cowboys if Jerry would let him.

I think BB can live with ceding control of FO functions, but he cannot live with multiple voices addressing the media. He's not going to be a fan of Jerry's radio interviews and postgame ad hoc corridor press conferences because they could undermine him.

A team would be stupid to give B.B. player personnel control. He's been terrible at it for at least the last decade.

He lucked out with Brady....drafting FIVE players before him and not ONE of them became even a average starter.

The Pats have not signed any player drafted in the first three rounds to a second contract since 2013.

He literally wanted to get Brady OFF THE TEAM in 2013.

At 70+ years old, how long will he stick around to oversee (which he is ill equipped to do) rebuild a team with a young QB.

Best place for Bill (besides retiring to the TV booth) is an established team, with a ready to go roster. Dallas fits that bill. In the end, I don't give two ****s where he goes. He's on the cusp of becoming a has-been and could do great damage to his legacy.

I would love to see him fall flat on his face with the one team that deserves to fall flat on their faces over and over and over again.
