A lake-effect snow warning is currently in effect in Western New York, including Orchard Park. According to the National Weather Service, heavy lake-effect snows could cause accumulations of 1 to 3 feet (https://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=NYZ010&warncounty=NYC029&firewxzone=NYZ201&local_place1=Buffalo%20NY&product1=Lake+Effect+Snow+Warning&lat=42.8855&lon=-78.8785), with storm totals potentially exceeding four feet. The warning is currently in effect until 7 p.m. on Thursday.

According to The Weather Channel (https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Buffalo+NY?canonicalCityId=60f9a2ed365f6f8cebd4cf543557cb60f0d1129208900298e1e3e6fd704009b2), the Buffalo area could see snow through Saturday morning.

The storm might not disrupt Sunday's Divisional Round showdown (https://www.nfl.com/games/chiefs-at-bills-2023-post-2) between the Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, which is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET, but it could hinder the team's ability to get their players in for meetings and practices. A travel ban hasn't been raised this week after Gov. Kathy Hochul put one in place during last week's storm, but head coach Sean McDermott noted the possibility that getting players to the facility could become difficult again.

Pack a bag for the rest of the week and have a sleepover at the facility. It will be good team bonding.

Get the shovel crew back to the stadium!

Somebody needs to invent a snowblower that fits over the seat that can slide across the row.

Starting at the top row and working your way down to the field .... then bring in the plows and other larger snow removal apparatus.

We need at least 50 of these machines ..... any inventors out there?

The shoveling is always tougher ... or build a dome :idunno:

But no need for a roof on the stadium, right?

“I just left the game plan meeting and came in here to discuss that with some of our operations staff, just making sure we’re on top of it,” McDermott said. “We’ll handle it, I’m confident in that, and the best thing we can do right now is just have great communication around it.”
The Bills have not canceled any practices yet, but if that’s necessary, McDermott said the team will deal with it and still be ready to play at home on Sunday against the Chiefs. It’s possible that the weather will get bad enough that it’s not safe for the players to drive to practice, in which case the team would call practice off.

Fortunately, the forecast indicates that there won’t be the kind of severe weather this weekend that could result in the Bills’ game being delayed for a second consecutive week. But whether the Bills have been able to get in a full week of practice remains to be seen.

It's already been invented, this is what Green Bay uses...Ariens built. Start from the top and work your way down.

What else is new???

According to the 10 day weather report, game day is "partly cloudy" in the morning, going to mostly cloudy by kickoff with temps rising during the day from 12 degrees (1 degree wind chill) at 8:00AM to 23 degrees (12 degrees wind chill) at kickoff with winds around 10 MPH.

The heaviest snow is expected to stop on Thursday. That means all the roads will not only be cleared, but probably most dry by Saturday.

Just another winter day in WNY. The weather will not be a factor in this game.

We have seats with backs to them ..... I want something that attaches that would then just glide along the entire row ..... much in the same manner that the ground blower that you offered works ..... and of course top to bottom.

The one pictured is good for the feet ..... I want one for the ass not just a bench seat cleaner.

If you look at the pic the guy behind him just shovels the snow to the next level down... looks good to me, you are just being picky lol.

Not if you can't get there, anyway.

Backback blower... your heart attack "situation" is solved.

I'm pretty sure the place will be clean before the "we are going to help make the difference" crowd arrives. This hits a 1 on the 1 to 10 worry level.

I just don't think having a dome on the stadium means anything to a city getting clobbered to the point no one can drive.

They better plow the roads enough to get a clear run to the stadium, I’m not where all the snow needs to go but in the lot itself.
