Anyone doing this is not a Bills fan. They are a moron.

It's a football game, not some contractor that you paid to renovate your bathroom then ghosted you halfway through the job.

I want to think it's gamblers doing it for the most part but it probably isn't and that is sad.

There was a dude balling his eyes out in the stands. A grown ass man balling over a football game like it was his best pet or someone he loved just died.

What is wrong with people?

Nowhere in the article did it say he received death threats. It only said "threats". I hope that is the case, but still incredibly uncalled for.

Funny, I had 2 people text to check in on me. My response was I am pretty calloused to losing terribly so it's just another off season to me.

Bass saved the fan base deeper heartache by slicing that kick. People not only suck but are stupid.

The article is wrong and making that kick did not give us a chance to win only scoring a TD would have done that....

So people should be ****ting on McDermott's lawn not Bass'.

No because McDermott would have been on the hook for the loss that exposed how stupid it was to try that kick in the first place....

Nah man. I liked it-ish. I’d be balling my eyes out in the fetal position if we ever won a SB.

In 1991, after the original "Wide Right" Buffalo had a parade for the team in downtown. Fans called for Norwood and cheered him wildly as he spoke.

Social media can bring out the dark side in people. A certain element in society feels it is perfectly OK to threaten someone via social media when life doesn't go their way. And...threaten people over the result of a damned football game.

On the good side, I like that people are donating to his charitable cause.

Probably the same people who think it's okay to throw throw snowballs onto the field.

Just to explain it to all of you again

Cats (all pets) > people.

If they won, yes.

I will never, ever cry over the loss of a sporting event. I didn't cry when I lost when I played, and I won't cry when any team I root for loses.

Crying is for important stuff, not a game played buy millionaires, run by billionaires. At least to me, anyways.

Blame is different over the heartache of watching a Walknoff Touchdown leaving Buffalo 13 seconds just because

I cried when Syracuse lost to Indiana in the National Championship game on the last second shot. I was a kid tho. But may have cried again when they won in 2003.

What kind of scumbags issue death threats to a NFL kicker????

Must have learned from the examples from the orange side in politics.

Again...the article only reported that "threats" were made. Not death threats. I haven't followed the story to know if anything came to light.

I can't say that I'm surprised. It's not everybody, of course, but there are enough people around that there are always going to be plenty who sink to despicable levels of hate at pettiness. The internet removes the restraint of embarrassment at public knowledge of one's stupidity and pettiness. The shield of anonymity removes the restraint of potential embarrassment and shame.

Rural Minds Sends Message Of Support To Bills Kicker Following Playoff Loss (https://www.post-journal.com/news/top-stories/2024/01/rural-minds-sends-message-of-support-to-bills-kicker-following-playoff-loss/)

Following the loss of the Buffalo Bills during their playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Bills Kicker Tyler Bass has received ridicule and bullying from fans of both sides.

This bullying, which comes after Bass missed the field goal during the remaining minute of the fourth quarter, has escalated to the point where he has deactivated all social media accounts because of death threats.

They should track down anyone who sends a death threat and incarcerate them. That's illegal. Also ridiculous and unacceptable.
