    Diggs usage stats via Rumblinbgs

Beefy read....interesting and worth it imho. Compares his usage 1st half vs 2nd half of season, last 4 years. Conclusion, logical imho if you read the whole thing...Bills have been content with having other teams dictate his effectiveness instead of scheming to maintain consistent use.

Really....don't reply without reading it though, it will be obvious if you don't read it. It's not an I like or don't like Diggs thread.

The wide receiver room is one of the poorest in Bills history top to bottom. It’s almost decent if you count Kincaid.

there was hope after 23 seconds that Gabe was a #2 but he played like #2. Sure he cleared the field for others but really? No deep threat?

it will be interesting to see Brady’s playbook next season. Maybe a passing game coordinator to bounce stuff off of?

As far as how Kelce got open… so much is timing like a mini Tua. He cuts right and ball is already there. You can’t cover that. Diggs is having trouble off the line… they’d scheme and formations.

totally agree that WR 2 needs to get a hat and shake Goodell’s hand.

Daboll had his issues but his O was fun. The personnel were way better too to bottom.

Interesting thing. Packers went to 2 conference championships with pretty much no one for Rodgers to throw to but Davante Adams for 4 years. They had a TE and RB, barely scrape over 50 catches in 3 separate seasons one per year, but the ball was always going to Adams.

OC was ...(cough) Nathaniel Hackett. Adams is actually older than Diggs, and marginally less fast. Adams was considered a possession receiver coming out of college, Diggs a slot receiver. Probably an argument to be made that they maximized Adams, and we maximize Diggs half a season every year.

Daboll has been temperamental in NY....maybe McDermott needed that aggressive push back here. Allen seemed to love him too, so same. Just imho, the offense here isn't maximizing anyone besides Allen as a running back, and I hope Brady has some oomph with McDermott, and Beane flat out tells McDermott "I'm getting you a receiver, and expect you to use him promptly, not the following year, advise your coordinator accordingly."

I’d love to see the info on snaps played this year Vs previous. Even 2nd half this year Vs 1st. He pulled himself a lot the 2nd half of the season this year. He just didn’t look right. They said was healthy, and why would they lie?

I dunno. How many times have we been able to say "Why didn't Josh hit Diggs, he was wide open in the flat (or wherever)" in the last couple of years? Is it because the play designs aren't getting him open, or is it Josh misreading the pre-snap coverage and thinking Diggs is going to be covered so he has to look elsewhere?
