Tua Tagovailoa will he break the bank?

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said this week that he believes a long-term deal will happen.

It’s one thing for the team and the player to want to extend the relationship beyond 2024. It’s another thing for the team and the player to strike a deal as to the value and structure of the contract.

Where does Tua land on the veteran quarterback spectrum? Currently, the top of the market is Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, at $55 million per year. At the other end of the range of veteran quarterbacks is Jimmy Garoppolo, at $24.25 million.

How much will the Dolphins pay Tua Tagovailoa on a long-term deal?

“It breaks your heart when someone leaves and you don’t know why.”

"It may be raining but there's a rainbow above you"

Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist poll showing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.

Not sure why'd they'd give him a huge deal. He can't play in cold weather and the best teams in the conference (who all are more stable at QB) are Buffalo, Baltimore, KC, and Cincinnati. As currently constructed, Miami essentially needs to finish as the #1 seed to make the Super Bowl.

Because not every owner has a championship as the top priority. Sometimes the status quo is good enough. Finding a championship level cold weather QB ain't easy...

I mean, they should probably keep him for the time being; I'm just saying you can't give him a blockbuster deal.

Would they draft a QB IYO?

No worries he'll be getting a very very big raise as well.

I'm guessing 45,000,000.00 or more per.

                      Miami is kinda screwed.

Tua is good but he can only get you so far. The problem is that they’re like us. They went 20 years without a QB after Marino, and for all Tua’s faults, he’s far better than anyone else they’ve had.

If they don’t keep him they’re going to have to find an immediate replacement or else their fan base is going to be livid.
