Not really a surprise. I thought maybe they'd bring him back for one last year, but he's declined over the past couple of years a lot. Him and Hyde should both consider riding off into the sunset.

He was a big part of this team's turnaround and the success over the last few seasons and I respect him for that. But it's a young man's game and business is business. His time has come.
They can probably bring him back for 4 mil later if they need him. Love the guy but he's lost a step. Both him and Hyde.

Makes sense. Maybe if they can get him back cheap he returns but I would imagine he’ll have other interest in the market.

Hell of a run for Poyer.
Good luck going forward.

He had little interest last off season, and he's a year older and slower.

Saves about $5.7 mil.
The right move.
Thanks Jordan!

At vet minimum most likely JMO.

I'd like to see him coach here.
Unfortunately, this isn't South Beach.

Poyer is another warrior that left his guts on the field every time he played. Tough to replace guys like him and Morse. But the NFL is a meat grinder. Get a job in TV Jordan.

Dude is a consummate professional and team player…how many players today would hop in a van to be driven for 15 hours in order to play in a regular season game when they couldn’t fly, like Poyer did?
He’ll be missed.
