According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Floyd has agreed to a two-year deal with the 49ers.
Rapoport notes Floyd’s contract is worth $20 million with a maximum value of $24 million. Floyd will also receive $12 million guaranteed in 2024.
Floyd, 31, spent the 2023 season with the Bills. He tied a career-high with 10.5 sacks, also recording nine tackles for loss and 19 quarterback hits. He was on the field for 54 percent of Buffalo’s defensive snaps.
Heading to San Francisco will reunite Floyd with 49ers assistant head coach Brandon Staley. He was Floyd’s position coach with the Bears in 2017 and 2018, along with Floyd’s defensive coordinator in 2020 with the Rams.

he's a 49er.

Everyone else understood that. THIS is the player loss that hurts. Poyer/Hyde are old and oft injured. I would miss Tre' White, but after these two injuries, he's not a given any longer. Morse should have been gone 2 years ago. Gabe Davis blows running routes. Floyd, however, made a difference.

Disappeared late in season and playoffs.

And we continue to get worse. Yes, they overpaid but we still don’t have anyone equal or better on the roster.

he played great early on that's for sure ..... you always lose some.

he did always say his loyalty is to the dollar and i don't blame the guy.

the move was right for him and us at this point.

I was hoping to resign Floyd but you can’t turn down that offer from SF.

This is wrong.

He led the Bills with 10.5 sacks, one of which was against Dallas on December 17th - so he didn't fade. He made a difference. This was the one player that got away that truly hurts. Yes, the 49ers overpaid. But it would have been nice to see him play opposite a healthy Von Miller next season as was the original plan, even if it was just for one season.

His last 8 games he had 7 solo tackles, 1 sack, 2 STF. Did he even play against KC because his stat line is all 0's or did he disappear?

Goos riddance. Glad the 49ers overpaid and the Bills didn't.

He's a player for cash .... he made that clear ..... more power to him .... and bye bye.
