This is a surprise. I thought someone would throw a big contract at him.

Seems pretty team friendly as well. Great re-sign.

Beanie doing good work.

Meh.

Unless he steps up he's still back-up level.

Epenesa, Cam Lewis, Rapp. All crappy second level players. This draft is so important.

Good move. He’s more valuable than most fans acknowledge

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that Epenesa has agreed (https://twitter.com/MikeGarafolo/status/1767306557983719729) to a two-year deal to remain with the Bills. The contract has a base value of $7 million in the first season and can be worth up to $20 million.

Well they are paying him rotational starter money on a team friendly deal.

Gotta field a team. Not everyone is going to be a star.

Good signing. Hopefully builds on last year.

Well at least Epenesa got to see a good player play his position right in Floyd.

Not a super huge commitment only 2 years ....... smart for him and us.

Good signing.

Epenesa has improved steadily over the past 4 years and is entering his prime at 26 years old.

He has had 6.5 sacks in the each of the past 2 years in a rotational role. Not overwhelming, but nothing to sneeze at either.

Epinesa has also made some splash plays in that rotational role. Not a horrid signing.

Have we had a probowl DE under this system? All they do is set the ends and contain.

I think rotating lowers chance of probowl status or better yet all pro status. Imagine heavily rotating Bruce?

Rotating linemen can go just so far...
If you have a good horse (Bruce), then you ride him double.

Stop rotating. It serves no purpose as they vanish ar the end of the year anyways. The keeping guys fresh philosophy sucks

Epenesa is NOT a "crappy second level player".

Cam Lewis and Rapp are NOT "crappy" either.

He's a good depth player, but he's not standout.

I dont think he vanished at the end of the year, just that our schedule got tougher and with Jones being injured it put more pressure on the DEs

They are not crappy, but they are not front line starters either. Last year they were depth players, not they be asked to be more than that. In any event, signing them does not make the team better then last year, but at least provides some depth at positions where, without them, the Bills have nothing.

This is all on Beane and McDermott who built a culture where people want to stay for a discount and even take a paycutt.

The Jones injury hurt everybody.

I'm looking forward to Milano returning.
