As Stefon Diggs begins his new journey with the Houston Texans (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39866413/sources-bills-finalizing-trade-star-wr-stefon-diggs-texans), a story emerged that gave a look into some possible frustration between the former Buffalo Bills wide receiver and quarterback Josh Allen.

The Athletic's Tim Graham, who covers the Bills, recalled a story from Buffalo's Week 1 loss to the New York Jets on his podcast, Tim Graham and Friends on Thursday. He explained that as tensions rose following the loss, Allen "snapped" at Diggs in the locker room.

"As I recall, I didn't include it because I didn't know what Stefon Diggs said to him, but Josh Allen snapped at him. He said, 'It's one f—ing game!' and kind of motioned like I'm not talking to you here," Graham said (around the 19-minute mark). "And Diggs walked away and Josh sat there. In retrospect, keeping in mind this was Week 1 when for all we know everyone is hunky dory, but looking back on it I wish I would have included that in my story or made some sort of reference to it. Maybe Stefon Diggs was saying something nice to him, but (Allen) didn't snap at anybody else."

In the loss that Graham described, Allen had 236 passing yards and a touchdown but threw three interceptions. Diggs had 102 receiving yards and a touchdown as the Bills fell to the Jets, who lost starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers just four plays into the game.

Buffalo went on to have a solid 11-6 season, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round.

Now, Allen and the Bills will look to move forward with Diggs now in Houston.

Makes you wonder. Diggs was pulled on some 3rd down important plays this season. Maybe there was more to it than a random rest break.

Good for him and here’s the BIG difference. Josh did it behind closed doors and out of the national tv audience. He had enough respect from the media that nobody mentioned it until almost 8 months later and only as a dam I should have made a bigger deal out of it. And BTW, didn’t go on X with any cryptic messages or emojis or talk about it.

I'm excited to see how this offense go's forward without pressure from a Diva type WR, Diggs, Antonio Brown, even T Hill fits the mold, there is a reason there is 11 players on offense and it takes all 11, that being said Allen is a freak of nature when it comes to the QB position, never has there been a QB with his size arm strength, athletic ability ever, Steve Young probably was the close's, some will say Cam but Newton never was a talented passer as Allen is....

us fan's don't realize how lucky Buffalo is to have him.

because Allen is a true pro ,, Diggs is a Diva and will always be, he has to be the center of the attention, he doesn't want to just be a part, there's the difference between a real winner....The Quote that Diggs wants to win is so false.....

Aging receivers that are still good-to-excellent stay relevant by knowing their QB and taking advantage of where their QB wants them to be. Whoops, Stefon. Every receiver who comes here and gets in the top 3 rotation has a career year; except for Sanders but he was transitioning to being a 2-3. He wasn't going to beat his Pittsburgh- Denver numbers.

I wish Stefon well. He'll be the #3 in Houston and a veteran asset for Stroud.

BTW, Stefon Diggs playoff stats - 2021 - 33.5 yards/game, 0 TDs. 2022 - 74.5 yards/game, 0 TDs. 2023 - 36.5 yards/ game, 0 TDs.

Of course it's never his fault.

Now Allen can have as many bad games as he wants and doesn't have to worry about anyone making him feel guilty.

Bye Bye whiny Diggs.

It's becoming clear as can be that he was (lately) more of an albatross than a help.

To me, "it's just one ****ing game" is a perfect explanation for the team's annual periods of apathy and echoes McDermott's philosophy. You don't see that being acceptable for a team on a mission to win a championship with fire in their belly. It's an excuse and I see no reason for Allen to be applauded for it.

He wasn't pulled, he was pulling himself out.

Crying after the fact and blaming… THAT is the excuse. “It’s one ****** game” is not en excuse. Cannot change the outcome. Diggs was a finger pointer. That pointing was the excuse.
