Only 5 WR's logged catches last year, and chances are the next WR we pick is going to be better than Coleman, Hollins, Hamler, Shavers, Thompson and Isabella. Unless there are injuries, of course.

There there was definitely a pattern to how the Dolphins drafted.

Literally every Edge Defender was injured by the end of the year so they take Chop.
Armstead has baby deer legs so they draft the Prince of Zamunda.
Mostert was hurt last year and he's not getting any younger so we draft another guy named Jaylen.

I kind of expected them to take a big tall WR there going by that pattern, but Kamara is damn good value.

Out all day looking at vehicles .... how we doing?

They did well with the first 5 picks but went down hill trading for more picks and a 6 foot DE. I think they wasted a golden opportunity with all the picks to enhance there position in second and third rounds. I’m just not sure they needed to draft 10 players. Not all can make this team, so to me they had a chance to good a little higher on quality instead of quantity. You can fill camp players with the free agency signings after the draft.

Not complaining just a little miffed at the use of all the draft capital they started with and didn’t take advantage of it.

In the interview i heard earlier this morning he intended to move up.

Yesterday he also tried to move up to get Bishop ..... there were no dance partners and I'm certain the same circumstance prevailed today.

All I heard him say that the attempted move up was to only get Bishop. Glad it turned out the way it did but he failed to parley all that capital into something greater.

And the 3rd round and 4th round picks are a disaster.

Plus he forgoes the 5th year option on Coleman by not taking him in the 1st round.

5th ‘Ulofoshio was a sixth-year senior for the Huskies who started at middle linebacker. He entered college as a walk-on but was voted a team captain as a senior. He does not have a huge frame at 6-foot and 236 pounds, but he ran a fast time at the NFL scouting combine (4.56 seconds in the 40-yard dash). He also had the best vertical jump (39.5 inches) and the best broad jump (10 feet, 9 inches) among linebackers at the combine.’

One of the biggest mistakes that NFL teams can make in the draft is to reach for a player because he fills a position of need, drafting him higher than his talent justifies in a desperate attempt to find a Day One impact player. That’s a mistake that Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman says he won’t make.
