Woo hoo i won 500 bucks on the game lol :) I betted 50 bucks that the Bucs would win between 13-18 points. Odds were +1000.

A huge game for us, and we made a HUGE statement. Going into their new stadium for their opener, in that hostile environment for a major revenge game for them... and shutting them out.

Offense started off slow-- the Eagles' D really came to play-- and there were too many penalties (a problem in the preseason too). But few other problems really. Brad received great protection, was never sacked.

Would probably have had even more points I think if it weren't for the one INT and a few of the penalties. And how about Jurevicius' two TD catches? Those were absolutely incredible, especially the second one!! He really earned his salary tonight. Those two long TD drives were so huge; burned a lot of time off the clock.

Defense was amazing. Went out and proved they are as strong as ever, even with Quarles out. An important point came early on, when the Eagles had 1st and goal at the 1 and came away with nothing. That set the tone. Bet the Eagles regret that fake FG.

I am very proud of our guys right now. A GREAT job!!!

I was pessimistic coming into this one-- wow, was my gut feeling wrong! :)
