Guys, always remember, it's just football.

Of course, there were probably a multitude of factors, but football is not life and death...at least it shouldn't be.

That's just too sad for it to be put into words. I have a friend who lost someone to suicide and she was still torn up about it months later.

                  Tragic!

I'm sure there was more to it than a Fin loss however.

That's not the same as "WestCoastFin" here tho, is it?

Thanks everyone for your kind words here.. and to those of you who posted at FH...
LeftCoast Fin was a respected member of long standing at FinHeaven, he will be missed deeply.
We don't know all of the problems he was having, but we did know ther were more than a few. We can only speculate that the game on Sunday had anything to do with his decision... the timing would imply that perhaps it was his "last straw"... but nobody knows for sure.
We will probably be honoring his memory in a few different ways, it's been suggested we have a moment of silence on the boards, where as many members as possible gather, but do not post.... also a "silent thread" was suggested... we will also be working on a memorial page for Brian (LCP)... I know many of you here have interacted with him in the past, so I would like to extend the invitation to all Zoners as well.... I will be sure to let you all know when any event may take place.

Thanks again from the members and staff at FinHeaven!

My condloences to you, as well, wharf. Have you ever heard of the Yellow Ribbon Project? I joined it earlier this year, at the behest of my Juvenile Justice professor ( a Juvenile Court Judge). He got involved when the son of one of his best friends found a "permanent solution to a temporary problem."
