"The Sabres have made goaltending coach Jim Corsi a full-time employee with the intent to instill National Hockey League-caliber consistency in the crease.
A majority of NHL teams employ a part-time assistant or consultant to handle the position. Corsi had been a part-timer with Buffalo for the past five seasons.
"Maybe we've reached the point in maturity that this'll be the year," Sabres coach Lindy Ruff said of his goaltending. "We felt that bringing Jim in full-time could make the difference for us. "

I think this is a great move. Not enough teams devote resources like this to develop the young talent.
