    Fletcher Lays The Wood

"Woody suffered a sore sternum when Bills linebacker London Fletcher put a hard hit on him while he was trying to chase down Sam Adams on his 37-yard touchdown return. Woody said he had never been hit so hard in his career. Woody said breathing is difficult, but he would play against the Eagles"

NE Center Damien Woody got labeled by London.

This is great, more hits like this one and Takeo's and the "footsteps" are going to cause more alligator arms, more hurried throws, etc. Lots of turnovers.
*To have a good Defense is one thing but to be feared is another entirely.

London had an amazing game, and mark my words, as long as he stays healthy, he will lead the team in tackles again this year.

Personally I liked how Brady got knocked down on his ass and turned over his head when he maddeningly went chasing after Big Sam.

                    Me too. I hate Brady.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

What's really amazing is that he began that play by blitzing Brady and hitting his arm as (or just after) he released the ball. He then just kept going and made that HUGE hit!

If our LB corps stays healthy and continues to be this active, we are going to be tough to beat.

What exactly did Marsha think she'd do if she actually caught Sam?

I could just see it, Brady hanging on to Big Sam's shirt tail dragging along on the ground all the way into the endzone.

Maybe the offensive line was still feeling the effects of the hits on the return from Fletcher when Big Sam ran by them to sack Brady.
