It may come down to this at the end of this season. What do you think?
Winfield or Ty Law?

Then answer me this.
Answer Coverage or Tackler to all of the following:
Winfield -
Clements -
Milloy -
Wire -
Preliou -
My personal opinion is of the bunch, Clements is the only solid cover player we have. I would rather have Law, a premier cover corner, than another tackler.
Begs the question, if you have a shut down corner, does he really need to tackle that often? And if he does need to tackle, is he not a very good CB? See Deion Sanders (ignoring his stupid personality)

I'd rather see Winfield here for chemistry. He's as good overall as most corners and why let him go only to pay the same money to one of the other big name free agent corners? Having said that, here are a few of next year's free agent corners I wouldn't mind us having...
Antoine Winfield
Ty Law
Chris McCalister
Champ Bailey
Charles Woodson
Good crop, but for chemistry and "laying wood" I'll take Winfield.

I see what you guys are saying about "laying wood", but I would rather never see my CB make a hit... meaning he was never thrown to, or his receiver never caught the ball.
Other than INT's in a game, you should never hear a great CB's name.

See, I believe that Winfield is a solid cover guy. I think Clements is the better cover guy although he was the one beat last week for the only good Pats pass play. Winfield is a solid cover guy who comes up for run support better than most. Deion was a great cover guy who hurt his team in run support at times. I think Antoine is highly underrated for his coverage skills.

Winfield did not have many balls thrown his way last year which is one hint to me that he is an above average cover corner. I believe he is a very solid cover CB and it's nice to have a guy who can come up and make the takle if god forbid the RB makes it that far. I think we will hear Winfield's name more often this and not because he got burned.

:fabulous: Thank you Mr Miyagi
I will go with Winfield at this time. I agree with ryven that Winfield does seem to be avoided and that tells me he is feared. (However the same can be said of Law.) TedMock makes a good point too- "I'd rather see Winfield here for chemistry.
