Moulds "okays" Milloy to have new shoes

Safety Lawyer Milloy was sporting new red shoes at practice this week. Players must get the OK from Eric Moulds to switch to red shoes, and if they haven't made a big play, they get turned down. Milloy, of course, earned the privilege last week against New England.

Quarterback Drew Bledsoe kept the offense out on the practice field for about an extra 15 minutes Friday as part of "Drew's walk-through." No coaches are involved. Bledsoe goes over aspects of the game plan he wants to emphasize or plays he thinks need extra work.

I wonder if players go up to EMo and ask him to wear the red shoes, or if EMo goes up to them and gives them the option of wearing them? Also what constitutes a big play? Would Moulds have earned red shoes for his game last weekend?

I completely agree. I'm just wondering what constitutes a big play, i.e. would his 49-yard catch qualify, since he didn't score a TD?

one time entry. I think Josh Reed earned them last year...but i'm not sure.
