I hope we get the #1 spot. Great teams take those meaningless accolades in stride. If we lose this week it won't be because of some stupid power rankings. It will be because we couldn't stop Ricky Williams and if that's the case then we don't deserve to be #1 anyways. The players don't care about that crap anyway. Those power rankings are strictly for the fans to use as fodder on the message boards.

You cant avoid it. If you want to keep winning....you will get the #1 rankings, the people will talk, the SI covers will pop up, the hype will begin. Id rather keep winning than worry about stupid jinxs.
