Keep in mind point spreads are not derived by people thinbking how much the Bills will win/lose by.

They are strictly a number that encourages people to place wagers evenly on each team. There is a lot of Miami money out there swinging the lines and pushing that -3. "Smart Money" (Those who bet with their heads instead of their hearts) will kick in- expect that number to drop a point by kickoff.

This exact same thread was on the fin's board with about the same comments, bottom line is the Fins are at home, vegas figure the Texan's game was a abberation... thus Miami by 3, i wouldn't get to burn out over it if I were you. If you look at every odds, the home team is -3 just about.
