The Giants had three rookies on their offensive line Monday night, and that is a fact, in addition to being a world's record. The Giants also could have survived every single bad thing that happened to them if Matt Bryant hadn't kicked a kickoff out of bounds with 11 seconds left, giving the Cowboys the ball at their own 40-yard line. But there are always reasons why Jim Fassel's team loses strange games like this. We are never supposed to believe that it could have anything to do with the coach coming up as short as his offensive line, or his kicking game.
When the Giants had a fire drill instead of an actual field goal attempt at the end of that playoff calamity against the 49ers, you started to think that not only had holder Matt Allen thrown the ball away, but also masterminded the Brinks Robbery.
