Fans failing, too, amid dismal start

Yo, Philly: They hear you, and you aren't helping.

Certainly, as a paying customer at Lincoln Financial Field, it is your right to boo the Eagles for, contrary to advertisement, putting an inferior product on the field. No one disputes that the Eagles have been bad. It would have been more fun throwing money into the Schuylkill than paying for a parking spot, case of beer, several hoagies, pack of smokes, green McNabb jersey, tickets to the game and drinks inside the stadium, only to see the team lose.

But if you want the Eagles to win every game, get home-field advantage in the playoffs, make a third straight appearance in the NFC championship game and, by the grace of God and Andy Reid, go to the Super Bowl, booing the players is counterproductive.
