Just heard it on WNSA before the HS show came on.

Even though he plays for the Pats, I hope this isn't true. He's one hell of a Football Player.

that is absolutely heart breaking!

Reminds me of Bo JAckson and what could have been!

Bo Jackson , I still believe would have been the best running back in the history of the NFL!

I hope Colvin can overcome this!

Cry me a river. So he sells cars or "lays tile" or puts his signing bonus in the bank and lives off the $500,000 per year interest. Go to a local hospital and get some perspective.

Lighten up pal. We are here to talk about football and sports. This happens to be sad news in the football scheme of things. We don't need a reality check from anyone. ok?

One can always find a bigger tragedy. That doesn't mean this is not a sad event. I've been to the hospital and sat with dying patients. I think I have some perspective.

my brother broke his hip in a motorcycle accedent, he is litterally 1 out of 100 who came through it with no impairment.

If they need to put a plate in Colvin's hip his career is over

Kyle Cifton came back and he totally dislocted his hip. I hope Colvin can come back his career is far from over.

This is all scare talk.

It is black and blue that the surgery was a complete success.

Besides, he has a year to heal. He should be alright.

However, huge blow to our team, no question about it.

Even though he does play for the Pat's it does really suck that his career is over (if it is) So I hope he has a good recovery and keeps playing. As long as he's never on a 1st place team.

Yeah, every time the words "injury" and "hip" are in the same sentence everybody meantions Bo Jackson.

How about this: "injury", "hip", "priest holmes".

Thankyou.

Surgery and medical science has made huge strides since ol Bo Jackson.
