Ricky even says that he changed his running style because he would last a lot longer in the league. He doesn't need to take unneccecary hits. He breaks plenty of tackles.

I hate to say it but if I was starting a franchise I would take Ricky Williams as my RB. He is more durable than Holmes.

Ricky is the pansy, but Travis Henry is the one who gets stuffed then hides in the locker room. Last time I checked, the Bills were the ones with the battered Defense and gave up 150 yards rushing...

if you are afraid to take a hit and arent a qB (some arent afraid, like Fiedler...not bledsoe, he slides 99 percent of the time) you dont last too long in this league, and i dont mean from a wear and tear standpoint, i mean as in no one will want you cause u wont fight for extra yards....how could u say ricky is a pansy after sliding on one play...he single-handedly kicked your defense's ass

I agree, if you get hurt, you do your team no good.

fact is...doesn't matter if he was taking hits or not, he was gaining the yards...like they said, Earl Campbell was a great back, but the pounding he took running people over shortened his career...

Btw..Ricky was given several options to take breathers on the sidelines, but instead decided to stay in and keep the workload up.
Again, opposed to Travis Henry, who lasted 1/6th of the time Ricky did.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ricky is a pansy?? Wait, let me take a moment to....
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
You are such an idiot..
Ricky Williams rushed 42 times. On his 42nd carry, he trucks Lawyer Milloy back for a TD. Ricky going down when 4 people are on him is called being smart. Just ask Travis Henry how he's doing not going down when he's suppost to.
