While it is clear the offensive line is not opening up holes for Henry, it didn't really do that last year either and his performance was clearly better.
What has in the past made Henry stand out was his ability to squeeze out the extra yards after taking some hits. However over the offseason he lost some weight, at least ten pounds, to get faster and hopefully break some big runs like he did in the pre-season.
I think this has really made him easier to tackle. He goes down almost always on the first hit. He was never a smart back in terms of hitting holes just right, and having the right timing and all that, he was the spiky bowling ball, now he's not even that though.
