IT SEEMED like a bad omen for anyone venturing into the locker room yesterday looking for reassurance that the bye week had changed the outlook and the prospects of the 0-2 Eagles.
The most prolonged media scrum occurred around the cubicle of cornerback Bobby Taylor, who still wore a cast on his left foot, making his participation in Sunday's game at Buffalo seem very unlikely. And Taylor, who skipped a minicamp back in June in an unsuccessful effort to spur contract talks, further brightened the mood by telling reporters he does not expect to be re-signed by the Eagles when his current deal expires at the end of the season, though, "It's not out of the question that I'll be back here.''...
