All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
With the running game failing, the Bills have to make a move at some point to get it corrected. Now is the perfect time. It's week 3, still early in the season, Henry is banged up and the next few games aren't against the better teams on the schedule. I'd rather see moves happen now before the weather demands a strong running game and teams are vieing for a playoff spot. Waiting just prolongs improvement.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't repeat myself.
I think he should sit also, but not because I'd rather have Burns playing than Henry. Believe me, if Burns were the better running back he would have been the starter on opening day. Let Henry get healthy and get his head together so he can be effective in week 5.
I say let him play. Give him a chance to redeem himself. If he does, especially in spite of any bang up, it'll be a huge boost for both him and the team. And the fans.
I agree with you FTG, what happens when he tucks the ball away and gets smacked, driving the ball right into his rib cage. All the Bills need is about 20-30 rushes, with Henry that means 30-45 yards and that's when he is healthy! GW can split the duty between Burns and Simonton or who ever they may bring in. I don't see how sitting TH and giving someone else a chance can hurt.

Alright!! He should play! Henry knows his performance is in question. Hypothetically, let's say the OL run blocking is the problem and they correct that problem this week. Burns then gets the nod for the start this week because Henry is banged up, and Burns busts for over a 120 yards against Philly. Suddenly Henry looks like a chump and now his job is at stake.
Having Henry play, while risky, will determine whether or not he is the problem or if it was all past issue. If he fails to preform to optimal levels this week, then I'm all for benching him in favor of a backup.
On the other hand. If Burns gets the start steps in and doesn't preform appropriately, is the O line rush block suspect? Can Henry be held liable?
