News on Henry!

I was listening to 107.7 WNSA and Zig(a-hole) was talking to Jeff Morrison and he said the Henry admitted that he has torn cartillage(sp?) in his ribs. If that is the case, he could be out for an extended period of time. Our boy Rob Johnson had a similar injury and I think it cost him around six games. Anyone else hear this?

I heard another report that said 4 weeks...torn cart. in that area is as bad as a cracked rib...I had it when I played hockey...tough to twist from side to side.

Wait a sec...is this report true???? Some people say Henry will play Sunday and others say he'll be out 4 weeks. What's really the truth?

If thats the case we wont be hurt to bad sammy morris will be back in 2 weeks we have burns we just signed a new RB that looks pretty damn good and WM if need be will be ready in a few weeks so I think we wil be fine.

This morning on WGR550 radio they were saying how Henry says he's going try to play if he can and that the chances are 50-50. The DJ's speculation is this is just to keep the Eagles guessing who will be in the backfield and that he's not going to play much - if at all.

I'm guessing that if Henry has to wear a flack jacket it will be awkward for him and could possibly lead to fumbles...

it's comendable that he wants to play but I would like him to sit atleast a week.

We are reasy to sign Simonton off the PS, and we just signed Nick Maddox to the PS in place of Jerel Myers so we should be ok. Maddox looked like a good 3rd down back in college, out of FSU. Simonton I still like, and think he could do better than Burns if given the oppurtunity

Todays scheduled practice is non-contact. I really don't see how Henry practicing is going to show that he will be ready for this weekend when there is no contact. I will be very surprised if he plays. Smoke and mirriors from the front office to keep the Eagles guessing who will be in the backfield. Hello Joe Burns!

If he doesnt practice tomm. I would lean towards not. Joe Burn will be the man. Hope he will have a college flashback.
