What do you consider the JETS?

Actually the Chiefs surprised me last week. Although I don't consider them too dominating, not yet at least. I think the Jets are crappy this year and yes, I know, we lost to them (and shouldn't have). Are you guys really playing the Chiefs next week?? How did we get such a pain in the ass schedule??

Actually Miss B, our schedule is turning out to be not nearly as rough as it should have been. Teams on our schedule that are not performing up to standards anticipated this year so far:

Chicago
G.B.
Jets (twice)
Cincy
K.C.

That's 6 games that will be that much easier to win. Actually, and this isn't good, but the only teams that I'd say we probably won't win more than one game against are N.E. and Miami assuming that they have no significant injuries. I'll still be at the N.E. game hoping and rooting for a win. But both of those teams at present are significantly better than we are. The only other team that you might be able to say that about are the Raiders.

That's good for us given what was supposed to be a tough schedule.

The Pats in 2 weeks will crush the fins.

Buffalo gave the #4 Broncos all they could handle. A win over #8 Chicago would bump us up several notches.

Well, we did kill a team that happened to have their only win of the season against, you guessed it, the Buffalo Bills!

The arguement that "we'll beat you because we beat team X and team X beat you" is an old one but flawed because it doesn't necessarily work that way, particularly in the case of a game like the Bills-Jets where turnovers and special teams played such a huge role. Buffalo is still working on the turnover problem and special teams and the special teams are better now than they were at least in the first game.

It's also a weak argument because it's all about matchups. Team A could win the matchup with Team B but not be able to beat Team C even though Team B could.
