PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Rookie Konstantin Koltsov, placed on a line with veterans Mario Lemieux and Martin Straka, scored three goals as the Pittsburgh Penguins and Columbus Blue Jackets played to a 5-5 tie on Friday night.
Lemieux, making his first exhibition appearance since Sept. 23, 2001, assisted on two goals by Koltsov, a first-round draft pick in 1999 who scored only nine goals in 65 AHL games last season. Koltsov leads Pittsburgh (1-3-1) with four goals in four preseason games.
Defensemen Derrick Walser and Jaroslav Spacek scored power-play goals 3:27 apart in the third period to rally the Blue Jackets (1-1-2) from a 5-3 deficit
