All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I'm more concerned with winning the division and making the playoffs then rivalries. The north is an easier division to win...new rivalries can be created over time. Bunch of reactionaries.
Well, all divisions are cyclical; so in a couple of years the North might be considerably tougher than the East.
The so called "Rust Belt" division would have been contrived. The Ravens, Steelers, and Browns all hate each other and belong together. Plus the Bengals have been rivals with the Steelers and Browns for decades. The AFCE is back to the way it was with all old AFL teams.
Let's Go BILLS and SU ORANGE![IMhttp://www.billszone.com/fanzone/attachment.php?attachmentid=&stc=1G]
Although I do love the rivalry with the Phins being in a division with the Stillers, Browns and Cincy would have been awesome. New and bigger rivalries would have been formed very quickly. I went to school near pittsburgh and graduated a couple years ago and I already have a huge Bills, Stillers rivalry with my college buddies!!!!
I like the rivalries, but I agree with Thurm. We would have developed new ones. I'm OK with it either way. The day is coming when Buffalo will reign in the AFC East once more!
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
