I checked bb.com. Still "single-seats available" so hopefully it will be all set by Thursday 1PM.

I'll buy what's ever left at 12:55pm on Thursday so you can see the game on local TV. I got a couple grand in my sock drawer that's takin up space.

Any chance you can loan me any of that so I can fly down to Miami with CP, Jaded, and the others? :D

I just called 1 Bills Drive to try and get a ticket. The game is sold out.

I do NOT think we will need Ralph's involvement (read $$$) until the Lions game. That game is Canada Day so perhaps my fellow Canadians will come down in droves for the game and the ballet in Niagara Falls. Canucks, if you have any questions (where to Tailgate, who to annoy at the game, where to pee, the bouncer's name at Sundowners, etc.), I am at your service.

I can't do more -- I'm a Season Ticket holder of 1 1/2 seats (no my a** is NOT that big).

Creemore...........The Lions game should sell out too. I was just checking on bb.com. The best seats I could get together were way up in section 307 which is way over in the corner of the upper deck. If thats all they have left with a month to sell them that game should sell out easily. The only games I would say are possibly in danger of not selling out are chargers and Bengas.

:gossip:

The Chargers game will sell out with a rumour that Flutie will start. The Bungles game is on December 29th -- oh my a** just froze up thinking about that -- and I think the only way that sells out is when we are knocking on the door of the playoffs. ALL very possible.

Its been close to 20 years since a bear game wasn't televised. Its a rule young bear fans probably don't know exsists. Why don't the bills sell out?

How much bigger is Chicago than Buffalo? Your stadium also holds about 5,000 less.

If I remember correctly, the population of Chicago is around 3 million not counting suburbs. That is more than 10 time the population of Buffalo without suburbs. New York City is another market where they never think about the blackout rule. The New York metro area could probably sellout a third NFL team. Another factor: Buffalo is probably windier than the windy city, and in November/December the weather can be worse than what Chicago typically gets. Western New Yorkers think of themselves as able to cope with any weather, but if the truth be known, we are a little wary, and respectful of what the weather can do. If the Bills are not playing well and one of those late fall early winter games is against a non division foe, and doesn't look like it'll be a great game, people will be less likely to brave foul weather to watch it.

Does talking about how far I can punt Bears fans count as talking football? :D

I think the Bears fan deserves a modicum of respect while here.

Buffalo has a little over 300,000 people in the city area and barely over a mil counting the suburbs. The Chi has like 3 or 4 mil just in the city alone. We do our best. We also have a 75,000 seat stadium. I will say that I was in chicago the day of your playoff game with the eagles last year visiting a buddy and I am not sure I have ever been that cold in my life!!!!

:stupid:

With over 100 posts in a little over a week, I talk about everything. Check my posts for the stuff of substance.

I do spend a lot of time "handling" non-Bills fans as well. It is an ugly job, but someone has to do it.

They just do NOT get it. The site is called Billsfanzone yet they expect to be treated "nicely" here when they are NOT Bills fans.

:chair:

It makes you wonder if we should have an IQ minimum for registration?

If it is, I believe I am doing that.

Also how does a guy/gal/it with 28 posts get to have a customized name? I'm a missing something? Who do you have to sleep with around here?

Well, I think my name hopefully declares that I am male, which I am.
When I came on here a few months back, I got to select my designation, which I cannot change. And by the way, I choose to selectively post when I have something to say.
But enough about me. I hope the game will be seen on Sunday in the Western NY area, since that was the locus of this thread before it disintegrated into several tangents.
