Miro and the Sabres were very smart to deal. Thje Sabres would be in deep crap, and with the lockout on the horizon, no way Satan sits out this year and then no pay next year- 2 years without a salary would have cost him 5-8 million, money he would never recover regardless of the raise.

Yay! He's my favorite player as well, and I was waiting to hear about his signing. I didn't doubt he would, but I was getting a bit nervous. And he definitely deserves that salary over the next two years. Isn't his second-year salary more than double what he makes now?
